Terms of Service

1. Purpose and Scope

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the ReNot platform, published by Daw's Software. By creating an account or using the services, you unconditionally accept these Terms in their current version. They apply to all users, whether professionals or patients/clients.

2. Definitions

• Platform / ReNot: all software services accessible at renot.app, published by Daw's Software
• Professional: any professional (therapist, doctor, lawyer, advisor, coach, etc.) using ReNot to manage their practice and clients
• Patient / Client: any individual using ReNot to find a professional, book and manage appointments online
• Services: all features offered by ReNot according to the subscribed plan
• Publisher: Daw's Software, Les Trixhes 4, 4890 Thimister-Clermont, Belgium

3. Access Conditions

Use of the platform is subject to the following conditions:

• Be at least 16 years old (in accordance with art. 8 GDPR) or have parental authorisation
• Have full legal capacity to enter into contracts
• Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when creating an account
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them
• For professionals: carry out a legal and properly registered professional activity

5. Professional Obligations

As a professional using ReNot, you agree to:

• Inform your patients of the use of ReNot as a management and booking tool, and obtain their informed consent
• Be solely responsible for the content of notes, records and documents entered on the platform; ReNot acts only as a technical processor
• Not enter sensitive data unrelated to your declared professional activity
• Keep your professional information, contact details and working hours up to date
• Comply with the ethical rules of your profession and applicable regulations (professional order, GDPR, professional confidentiality, etc.)
• Notify Daw's Software (adrien.dawans@daws-software.be) within 72 hours in the event of a suspected data breach or unauthorised access to your account
• Not share your login credentials or allow unauthorised third parties to access your account
• Not use the platform for non-professional or unlawful purposes

6. Patient / Client Obligations

As a patient or client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account and booking appointments
• Respect the cancellation and modification deadlines set by each professional
• Not impersonate a third party when booking
• Understand and accept that the professional is solely responsible for the therapeutic, medical or professional relationship — ReNot is a booking and management tool, not a healthcare provider
• Not access the data of other patients or users
• Report any abuse or inappropriate behaviour via the contact form

7. Common Obligations

• Comply with applicable laws in your country of residence
• Not attempt to compromise the security, integrity or availability of the platform
• Not use robots, scrapers or unauthorised automated tools
• Respect Daw's Software and third-party intellectual property rights
• Not introduce malware or unlawful content onto the platform

8. Intellectual Property

All elements of the ReNot platform (source code, design, trademarks, logos, texts, algorithms) are the exclusive property of Daw's Software and protected by Belgian and international intellectual property laws. Any unauthorised reproduction, modification or use is strictly prohibited. You retain full ownership of the data you enter on the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Belgian law:

• ReNot / Daw's Software cannot be held liable for indirect damages, loss of data, loss of revenue, professional or commercial harm resulting from the use or inability to use the platform
• Our total liability for any dispute is capped at the amount actually paid over the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or €100 for a free (Starter) plan account
• We are not liable for service interruptions resulting from force majeure, third-party infrastructure failure, or pre-notified planned maintenance
• The professional is solely responsible for the content they enter, their relationship with their patients, and compliance with their professional and legal obligations

10. Suspension and Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from your settings or by contacting contact@renot.app. Daw's Software reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account without notice in the event of:

• Serious or repeated breach of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive or security-threatening behaviour
• Non-payment following formal notice
• Judicial or legal order

Upon termination by the user, data is retained for 30 days and then deleted, in accordance with the privacy policy.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution within 30 days. Failing that, the competent courts are those of the judicial district of Liège (Belgium).

12. Changes to Terms

Daw's Software may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes are notified by email and/or via the platform at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
